These are good coffee.
In biodegradeable pods. Cannot stress that enough, these are compostable. Are they actually compostable? As biodegradeable doesn't mean compostable.
Edit: no they aren't: "✝︎Pods made from d2w oxo-biodegradable plastic technology. They are recyclable and biodegradable, but are not compostable."Awww man, don't make me learn stuff.
Careful! Are they compostable? I only see that they are biodegradable. Unfortunately big difference between biodegradable and compostable - very confusing for the consumer.
Have a look here:

Yeah seconded with the others, they're oxo-biodegradable, which don't break down well in landfills due to lack of oxygen.
At that price I would go Urban Brew if you value taste. 34 cents a pod on their subscription, and really great tasting fresh coffee. Also in biodegradable pods.
Depends on how many coffees you drink a day. Im an amateur 1 coffee a day man, so getting 60 pods a month would be no good
Yep agreed ;-) I go through 3 a day, and that's just me haha, got 2 others in the house!
thanks
just had a look at them - it's only 35 cents/pod when you subscribe to their minimum 120+ pods per month which is a bit excessive for my drinking habits
Yep. I think both were started by the some person, just seperate company names. For some reason the Urban Brews taste much fresher to me, and their intense is really nice and strong yet really sweet and not bitter like the express pods I've had. I'm happy to pay the 50 cents per pod to be honest, it's that much better than nespresso for me.
These taste very averge,
Apart from the orignal nespresso pods and starbucks pods, the best I prefer is the Vittoria pods
Moccona pods are pretty good too.
literally just tried the vittoria pods and i'm liking them. better than the starbucks ones
though having each pod individually wrapped seems a bit of a waste of plastic
Agree w Vittoria and original on top
Lavazza pretty good
Starbucks the worstI found Vittoria very weak and earthy. Starbucks range, especially House Blend, are the best.
Yep, +1 for the House Blend.
My favourite is the Lavazza nespresso pods, either intensity 10 or 12.
The coffee tastes great, but the actual pods themselves are pretty ordinary, and my machine pours slow most of the time with these.
NQR had these a couple of weeks back for $6 in a 30 pack. Just wish I bought a few boxes.
Just bought the Lavazza Pods and every second one it gets stuck in my machine, which is a shame as it tastes nice :(
Just putting it out there..recent Choice review of coffee pods. Woolies seem to score well.
https://www.choice.com.au/food-and-drink/drinks/tea-and-coff…TBH, woolies pods are the best bang for buck.
yeah the woolies/coles one taste fine to me
yep i buy my pods from woolies, they seem to always be on special whenever i go
ends up being 50 cents per pod regardless of the brand
Hmm thats pretty different from the canstar blue reviews https://www.canstarblue.com.au/groceries/coffee-pods/
Be me. Old enough to think the thumbnail was blank VHS tapes for sale. Then take 3 seconds like me to re-enter 2020.
Anyone tried ?
