Saw good reviews and keen to try this. Missed out on previous deals - but that SCA deal didn't deliver.

This does not qualify under Amazon prime, so everyone is in the same boat.

$24.59 + $13.27 delivery = $37.86 delivered
If you buy two : $68.74 = $34.37 each, delivered

Credit to sunnyc below :
Now showing as $23.99 each, free delivery if Prime and spending more than $49
I've cancelled my order and repurchased, bought 2 and other stuff from Amazon.

That's double the price of Seal n Shine on discount. I doubt it is twice as good.

Hi chewkl. Yeah but at $38 delivered, I'll give it a try. And it's delivered too.
Online reviews seem good. Keen to try it out.
p.s. I don't usually home-detail, I just pay for Opticoat on my new car. This is for an older car. I'm a first timer and this looks like a fool-proof way of being introduced to it ;)

    • Seal and Shine can be glossier and more resistant to chemicals. Its also easy to apply. The ceramic "version" is really streaky on dark cars. I spray an applicator with 1 squirt and it still streaks.

If the longevity of this exceeds Seal n Shine by 50%, then that means you don't have to reapply as often. That's where the value is.

      • On a dark vehicle it gets dirty in one week even with Seal n Shine. I find that while Seal n Shine offers some protection after a wash there is a noticable decline and re-application is still required.

      • Wrong, you need it to exceed SnS by 100% for it to be worth the value :D

On a serious note, both my cars are coated with SnS and after multiple monthly washes (at least 6 now), it still beads water like crazy.

        • Well 50% is an arbitrary number. But assuming it takes 30 minutes to apply a spray sealant, being able to skip one application means you save 30 minutes and the spray itself. But yes, i will agree that SnS definitely exceeds expectations.

  • Would it really be better than a coating of Bowdens Own Lazy Wax, followed by Autoglym Polar Seal?

Cannot comment on this specific product, but the general benefit of ceramics is their ability to withtand heat. So on a dark-couloured car in the summer you would get a lot more life out of a Ceramic than a wax and seal.

  • Will hold out until it qualifies for PRIME. Most other products in the Hybrid range do.

  • Seal n shine is really good. I use after every wash. My car is black, it streaks if u let it dry. Some of the youtube reviews say seal n shine is better value then this for very similar perfomance. Cant comment on seal n shine hest resistance

Yeah I thought there'd be more excitement with my post. Lol!

  • How does this compare to Mothers CMX?

  • Is there free shipping to Aus if using Amazon prime USA account?

    • Don't know as I don't have USA Prime

Bought this stuff with the last 30% off sale @supercheap, found it's really easy to use (basically spray and wipe) and works surprisingly well.

Got it at $23.99 delivered. Over $49 for free international delivery.

    • Free delivery if spending > $49 was not available when I purchased! I'm going to cancel my order and re-order!
      Thanks, will update the deal.
