Does china even make chips? The modules would be from korea and the dimms made in china. Both of the fabs and factories having minimal crew.
Its all curency/local demand.
SK Hynix and Micron both have RAM fab facilities in China. Not sure if Samsung produces RAM in China or not.
How does this compare to Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200mhz 16GB DDR4? This one. I got it for $117 so wondering if it is worth returning this and buying the G.Skill
The one you got is very good, for the price keep it
3200 MHz CL16 is basically identical performance to 3600 MHz CL18. In fact, even if you prefer 3600 CL18, I would be surprised if you couldn't run your kit at that speed/timings, you just won't have XMP profiles for it.
