  • Thanks. My favourite contact lenses. A participating retailer is any store that sells this contact lense in Australia

    • Thanks, I'll update the description.

      • Oh i didnt see the list on the website. But I got this from the terms
A participating retailer is any retailer in Australia or New Zealand that stocks the Promoter’s Participating Products (“Participating Retailer”). Purchases from physical Participating Retailers only will be accepted, including purchases from that physical Participating Retailer’s online store. Online only or e-commerce only retailers are excluded

        • Little bit confused - if I buy 2 of these packs online through visionary will they honour the cash back or not?

          • @juzz0: Yes.https://www.alconcashback.com.au/
Has an easier to read list of participants

  • Can I claim this on my Bupa extras?

It says you'll have to contact them to see if your health fund is included. It's best to contact them before purchasing as you'll need their provider number to claim.

      • I emailed them but they haven't replied 2 days later.

They also don't pick up the phone.

        EDIT:

Just realised these are not toric … never mind.

  • Not sure how it compares to Acuvue Daily Moist, but I pay around $60/box for those from mycontactlens.

      DT1 much better :)

  • These ones didn't work for me. Didn't have clear vision in one eye, no matter how I tried changing the prescription.

    • Have you tried checking with your optom? You might need toric ones.

      • Of course, I didn't try on my own :-) Acuvue turned out to be a much better fit for me.

DT1 has the best technology in contact lenses.

  • What's the difference between PRECISION1™ and DAILIES TOTAL1®? Because the Precision 1's are cheaper on the Bupa Optical website

    • DT1 has better technology in a way that it retains more moisture as time passes by. P1 is newly created product to cater mid-tier customers but it is also good.

Just wanted to let anyone interested in this deal know that you can also get an additional $30 off by ordering from Specsavers and entering the promo code AMS30 at checkout.

I placed an order for the 2x90 pack of DT1s and with the code it came to just $195. With Alcon cashback it'll be just $105. Woohoo!

I've never tried these lenses before but I wanted to and the only deterrent was the price, so thanks for the deal OP!

    • Thanks

    • legend thanks

  • I wish these had toric. I'm using acuvue moist for astigmatism

  • Has anyone received their cashback yet?

    • +1

      • Yet to receive mine, do u mind telling me which site you purchased the lenses from?

        • +1

Specsavers. Ordered and submitted cashback request on 7 May. Lenses yet to be dispatched.

          • @ufwpd: Finally got the email but contacts still haven't been delivered?!

            • +1

@justjack: Glad it was approved! No lenses yet either. I did receive an email from Specsavers saying they were delayed.

            • +1

@justjack: Received my cashback today, and lenses have finally been dispatched. Hope you get yours soon!
