tricare Liquid Handsoap 1L Refill $2.75 @ ALDI

1390

Here's another soap deal.

It's not even listed as a special price, but it seems cheaper than normal.

Posted as I saw the price from 2015 was $3.49. Sorry I don't have a price tracking device.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/199932

The one missing from the pic is the one I took.

I get orange to refill the good looking Natio orange bottle set I have. Don't tell my guests it's not the real deal.

Plenty at Aldi, should be same price at all, I suppose.

    this is everyday price fyi

  • +5

I been buying all of these for years, but there's virtually no stock of these anymore at any North shore Sydney Aldi stores anymore. The shelves are empty and I have tried many times over the past month or so at multiple stores at different times.

    • Oh okay :( try at leichhardt if you are close.

      • What's difference 'Liquid'hand soap and Hand-wash? which is better

    • Btw when did it get to this price? It's a good price for liquid handsoap, I usually avoid liquid because of the refill price.

      • +1

I've been buying at this price for what seems like the past year or maybe more even. But don't quote me on it lol

        • Oh cool haha I won't! Some price- tracking-snazzy ozb may though, and may put this in ozRRP where it may belong however ha.
Gtk. I might shop at Aldi more often…

          • @Embaloo: I used to shop at Woolies and Coles pretty much all the time. I switched to Aldi and never looked back. Btw no im not sponsored by them either haha

            • @habib23q: Wow. I have only dabbled… My main woolies/Cole's/HF drawcards have been the marked down meat prices, but they are so hit and miss…
Thanks ha you do sound a little like that main character on the Aldi conversion ads lol!

              • +1

@Embaloo: Yeah but Aldi at times does have discounted meat too.

Lol I realised that I sounded like their ads.

                • +3

@habib23q: I mostly only shop half price, but that has been difficult as of recent. That said, I dont do the bulk of the groceries only the pantry things that can be kept longer term.

                  • @ATangk: Yeah there are some weeks where the missus will buy some stuff from Coles and woolies but the majority of the time we just get everything from Aldi these days as just about all their products are comparable or as good but cheaper.
Granted tho there are items that are sometimes priced higher but you just have to be careful and use ozbargain I guess lol

                    • @habib23q: You also need a lot of storage space… I bought TP for for something like $12 for 36 pack roll of the quilton stuff months ago. Didn't need to buy any and probably have enough for another year or few.

                      • @ATangk: Yeah that's true about needing the storage space. I used to buy them quilton before switching to the Aldi 24 packs for $7.49 I think until before all this madness started. Then I was lucky to find some Kleenex at woolies and bought a quilton pack off Amazon for my oldies.

            • @habib23q: I prefer Aldi for products that never go for half price promo and Woolies and Coles for those products which are often at a half price. The latter is better than Aldi's full price as a combination of (brand + price) and often cheaper too. Another big pain about Aldi is availability (particularly for those items that come in limited stock) as many would agree.

              • @virhlpool: Yeah i do agree about availability when it comes to Aldi it's hit and miss.

But yeah you do get lucky with the woolies and Coles specials I guess which none of us will be seeing for the foreseeable future due to current circumstances unfortunately.

      • The hand sanitiser was $3 for 250ml back when it was still available too.

        • I was very lucky about a month ago when Aldi had a special deal for 3 bottles of sanitiser for $2.99. I bought the last 3 bottles and the manager even said they didn't have anynore stock of this and didn't know when they would be getting anymore in. That's the only time I saw any besides a few days ago at chemist warehouse where it was a absolute ripoff for like $20 for a half litre bottle.

          • +2

@habib23q: Yeah a couple of months ago they had sanitiser wipes too on special, 40 in a pack for $2, we bought 3 and thought that was enough. Little did we know lol. Even when I bought those hand sanitisers I though, hmm 4 is enough haha. But it would have been bad to take more and leave less for others, we still have enough now.

    • You just got to go at the sweet spot. I went into Aldi at 5pm yesterday and they had the liquid and laundry disinfectant, and the foam and soap refills. Pretty sure WA restocking day is Wed/Thurs.

      • Yeah maybe in WA but here in NSW there are places that are always raided all the time and other places which aren't in comparison. But yeah sometimes you do get lucky I guess.

Upvote to oblivion.. to wake up ozbargainers

    • what flavours?

      • BOUGHT a milk-honey one to try, as they have the other 2 in big litres-made in oz, but these 1L ones are made in mayalsia weirdly

    • +2

Yeah, I don't know why people spend so much on it! But this one is orange!! Perfect for natio impressionists!

      • +1

Yeah it's just soap but for me it makes a difference because soap bars like Dove trigger skin allergies but none of these liquid soaps do.

    • atleast thts something with normal price n in stock

      • I'm so of the 'deals' that's just normal products you can buy anywhere

        • +3

Yeah, tbh, I thought it was a good price. But then, I thought homebrand icecream sandwiches were a good price.

    • ALDI Liquid Handsoap refills $2.75 for 1L

      Yes it is…

Have not seen any at any Aldi stores near me for weeks :(

This is my regular soap we usually purchase at home.

    • +1

      Oh :(

    • +1

yep .. empty shelf for almost all hand cleaning product

  • -7

None at Baulkham Hills, and hasn't been for almost 2 months now. The store this picture was taken isn't even listed in the deal.

    • I reckon Aldi doesn't have store-wise differential pricing.

  • +1

This is why I still just buy the Amazon deals… better to have some than none, only get them to put into the kids dispensers. Meanwhile dad uses soap bars and when there were none laundry soap.

    • Ooo. Like sard? You have to be tough for that stuff, man.

      • What about solvol then? 😁

        • Wow. That stuff is made in Australia too. Makes me want to renovate a house.

      • Isn't Sard for cleaning clothes?

        • Yeah hehe. Sqeeky clean.

Used it to make detergent. Had to figure out if borax was ok or not because that’s what I use to get rid of ants.

        • Yeah wow. Similar to sard!

    • Meanwhile dad uses soap bars and when there were none laundry soap.

      Hard handed stuff, mate.

      • My skin is oily so really only dry for like few minutes before I start leaving streaks again.

  • +1

I haven’t seen any at Ashfield for over a month now.

    • +10

Sorry… Leichhardt is close? Or you can have some of mine, it says it does "up to 4 refils". We'll take ages to go through it.
I can meet you at the corner of Queen and Liverpool rd.
1.5m though. If you remove the lid, I can bring a funnel.

  • +3

I'm amazed there is stock. My Woolworths and Aldi (Lidcombe) have been out of stock of any liquid soap for over a month (last checked on Wednesday)

  • +2

Unlike colesworth, ALDI don’t try to price gouge you given the chance. Saw a $7.50 hand soap advertised as ‘specials’ at Coles on their promotion end, they are 500ml at best, didnt stop to check them out.

  • Anyone happened to use this as well as the Coles/Woolies ones to compare?

I'm using Palmolive at the moment, but also WW before that, to refill Dettol NoTouches. I find both a bit too jelly-like if that makes sense. It squeezes through the gaps in my fingers in chunks so I think a lot of it is being wasted down the drain, literally.
The stock Dettol is more like a thick liquid which seems to work better.

    • Not entirely sure about this one but foaming hand wash and refills are same as Palmolive so these could be as well.

  • +1

    If there's any stock……………….

  • +3

Use dishwashing liquid - $1 per litre :)

    • I was thinking that. Why can't you dilute it down and use everywhere?

    • +3

I've been using Aldi's "Unamat" one litre dishwashing liquid as a handwash for last few years without any problem. Ozbargainers should take note that it costs just 99 cents! Works a treat on dishes as well.

      • Omg i used to use it as a handwash too. I even showered with it but be warned it does dry up your skin.

      • I have been using it for years as handwash…much cheaper :)

  • This ALDI stuff is the price it should be, and what I usually get, haha.

May have to return the 1L Palmolive foaming refill from chemist warehouse, was almost 8 Bucks but didn't realise was foaming, don't have a dispenser

  • This is the regular price at Aldi (we shop at Aldi, Coles, woolies and the green grocer every week- Buy specials at Woolies and Coles, and fresh vegetables, milk and eggs at the grocer).

But upvoted as Aldi is the only one that does not jack up the prices.
We always buy this soap refill and it is actually great.

  • i like the green tea, chamomile n pomegranate
