^That is a grey import, warranty provided by…Kogan.
Free shipping if you have their First membership, otherwise $31.99 to WA.Yes, correct.
Does your grey import one able to use the Mi Home app?
using China or Australia Server?Thanks!
@littlesoldier: I’m only using the China server as I have other Xiaomi devices that need this particular server. I’m controlling it via Mi Home and Home Assistant.
Is there much of a difference between the two models?
Looks ideal for the bedside cabinet.
Do they do a his and hers model?
Just hoping to stop the wife complaining…
Got the 3H from last eBay deal for $179
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/525196I have been looking for a humidifier. Does this machine do what a humidifier do?
Nope, this cleans particulates from the air and a humidifier makes the air more humid.
Thank you!
Im confused because the Pro is advertised on that ebay page as being HEPA but the Xiaomi website says it isnt have a true HEPA filter https://www.mi-store.com.au/which-xiaomi-air-purifier-is-bes… but the 3H does?
I thought that was weird also but it looks like the Pro supports HEPA filters but you have to buy the HEPA filter separately.
Although Air Purifier Pro is not packaged with the true HEPA Filter, the in-box activated carbon filter is capable of delivering qualitied air as promised. However, you can easily replace the existing cartridge with the Xiaomi HEPA Filter, available for purchase on Mi-Store.com.au.
Both Pro and 3H comes with HEPA filter
But 3H is a newer model and it comes with true HEPA class 13 filter (remove at least 99.97% of airborne particles 0.3 micrometers (μm) in diameter.)
while the Pro comes with a HEPA class 11 filter (remove at least 95% of airborne particles 0.3 micrometers (μm) in diameter.)
In reality, depends on which environment you are using the purifier
If you are using to filter dust or pollen then most likely both filters will be very close
as these airborne particles are both larger than 0.3μmOn the other hand, ff you are trying to filter virus both are not effective
because virus size is 0.1μmYou can check the particle size reference here:

I got one thank you
Any good source for filters?
Can someone help me understand why we need these things in Australia? I thought our air quality was great. Is this for allergies / asthma? Or like smoke from neighboring units?
These things sold like hotcakes over the summer when the bushfires made air quality anything from unpleasant to dangerous.
I bought a pro during the bushfires and to be honest it did bugger all on auto. It never detected more than an AQI of 10 and never ramped up, even if plugged in outside during measured 1500 rolling average.
From what I heard it bases its AQI on the PM10 reading and not PM2.5, which does unfortunately make the auto mode useless in that situation.
I messaged Xiaomi and confirmed the pro does not come supplied with HEPA filter so ordered 3H.

Did they say if it would come with the older HEPA filter which is Class 11 instead of the True HEPA (Class 13)?
Yeah did they??
Are these even worth it in Australia (other than bushfire situation)
Good for 2nd generation born asian-Australians with allergies I guess..?
Xiaomi has the 3H for $239.00 with free shipping and 3% shopback cashback atm.
Not sure if it would be better for warranty if needed.
Does this help filter dust in the air?
Based on this testing the Xiaomi is hopeless.
The review you posted is of the Mi 2
been using this for about a month now .. it has given me better sleep since having it bedside.. i was on the fence for the last 6 months but pulled the trigger on the ebay plus deals
How noisy is the machine, are you a light or heavy sleeper?
very very light.. theres night mode which i cant hear at all really. getting about 10 percent extra in deep sleep too
which one you bought?
Just copped one, thanks OP! I have mild allergy to dust and always wake up congested :(
leave it on and trust theprocess.
Set it up with the app, its great to schedule it to switch on before waking up!
might want to look into Cold-therapy help with some inflammation too
I have been looking at this for a while. I currently have an old daiken air purifier but it has been hard to get filters for it. I used to get a lot of congestion and runny nose specially at night. After I got this and changed my mattress (latex layer) and pillows to latex I have slept very well (allergic to dust\pollen). Will definitely get one, thanks OP. My old Daiken stays on 24 / 7 as it does not have an auto shut down when air is "clean" does this one have an auto shut down when air is supposedly clean?
Does it have auto shut?
How big an area do these things cover? Would i need 1 in each bedroom or just leave it in the loungeroom?
EDIT Just saw this " applicable for 18~31 m2 room " . Ours rooms arent very big but not sure how it would cover the 2 rooms even though they are next to each other.
Would this remove cooking smell? Comes with Activated carbon?
I have a large dining area and been tossing between Xiaomi 3H vs Innova Air E20Plus, but Innova Air would costed $1600.
I guess I'm comparing Hyundai vs Audi here?
I got 2 of these during the bushfires and they were amazing… now they are boxed up in my garage … not sure to what to do with them now!
I paid $279 for Xiaomi Air Purifier Pro from Kogan ($299 - $20 discount voucher) - with free shipping.
