9 Free Apple TV+ Show Series for All Users (E.G For All Mankind, The Elephant Queen, Snoopy in Space etc.) @ Apple TV

1340

Greetings everyone, today Apple have released some free TV series to assist those in isolation :)

No subscription is required, just open up the Apple TV apple on your supported device and stream these for free.

Just search the series names in the app and it'll show up for the whole series ready to stream.

Each series seems to be approximately 10 episodes each, 1 season per show currently.

Whilst everyone is staying indoors, Apple has made a handful of Apple TV+ shows free for anyone to stream. This should be live now in the US and available in all countries where Apple TV+ is available starting April 11th.

Show Description
Little America This anthology series featuring eight funny, romantic, heartfelt, inspiring and surprising true stories of immigrants in America, when they’re more relevant now than ever.
Servant A twist-filled, psychological thriller from M. Night Shyamalan that follows a Philadelphia couple in mourning after an unspeakable tragedy creates a rift in their marriage and opens the door for a mysterious force to enter their home.
For All Mankind NASA astronauts, engineers and their families find themselves in the center of extraordinary events seen through the prism of an alternate history timeline — a world in which the USSR beats the U.S. to the moon
Dickinson Starring Hailee Steinfeld, this comedy series audaciously explores the constraints of society, gender, and family from the perspective of rebellious young poet Emily Dickinson. Wiz Khalifa guest stars.
Helpsters This live-action pre-school series from the makers of Sesame Street follows a team of vibrant monsters who love to solve problems.
Ghostwriter In this re-imagining of Sesame Workshops’ 1992 series, each episode’s story arc is grouped around literature, featuring classics and new works commissioned from popular authors like D.J. MacHale and Kwame Alexander.
Snoopy in Space In this series of 12 animated shorts featuring Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang, Snoopy fulfills his dreams and embarks on his next big adventure: becoming a NASA astronaut.
The Elephant Queen This genre-crossing wildlife documentary narrated by Chiwetel Eljiofor follows Athena, a majestic elephant matriarch, who leads her family across an unforgiving, yet cinematic natural landscape made up of grasslands and woodlands, dotted with seasonal waterholes.

As always, enjoy :)

  • Is this only on the Apple app? Have Android and tried to access via website. Needed to sign up and had to put in CC details so stopped the sign up process as didn't want to do that.

    • Yeah, only available on the Apple TV app (iOS, Mac OS and Apple TV) unfortunately.

Some Samsung TVs have the Apple TV app, other brands maybe too have it.

        • Yeah - the Fire TV Stick has it too, so I assume it will work on that as well.

    • Not working for me even on my iPad :(

      • I have tried the Apple TV + streaming via their website and it's useless. I have it free with my phone purchase and it just won't stream reliably via their website so I've given up on Apple TV +. I'm certainly not buying an Apple TV box just for their few shows they have and no imsterest in watching TV via their app on a mobile (tiny screen). I just wish they'd build a reliable service via their website. Netflix certainly has nothing to worry about.

  • Oh well. Thanks for confirming.

Good deal if you have iOS. I've seen for all man kind, I like that kinda stuff. Alternate histroy and space should go together like toast and butter, but man that show was a hard slog.

    • Waaay too much lefty / progressive / victim signalling made it a hard slog. They should have focused on sci fi rather than the concerns of san Fransisco residents.

    • I also like these series. Second one I liked was See

Have seen "For all Mankind" and it is definitely worth watching.

The Apple TV shows have a very heavy progressive and politically correct theme and undercurrent which isn't for me, but others may appreciate it.

I will watch "Snoopy in Space" and "Dickinson" from this deai to try them out.

    • +1

Netflix is into all the progressive (regressive in my opinion) agenda pushing rubbish as well. Hardly watchable

  • I watched 2 episodes of snoopy. then will not let me watch more without starting a trial

    • Same - My kid was not impressed that we had to stop

      • +1

OK, I followed the credit link and it says "The free shows were made available to viewers in the U.S. on Thursday and will expand to 100 countries and regions on Friday"

Maybe they just haven't actually activated it yet.

    • The offer hasn’t started in AU.

  • +2

Any idea how to get it working on Android?

  • +1

    Morning Show was good.
    Servant was decent.

    • Morning Show was fantastic! (called morning wars now?)
See is also very well made.

      • Morning Wars in Australia. Morning Show everywhere else.

        • Why did they do that? I'm really curious.

          • +5

@TimApple: Because there is already a show on Aussie TV called The Morning Show.

FYI this hasn't started yet in Australia. From the website: This should be live now in the US and available in all countries where Apple TV+ is available starting April 11th.

  • Dickinson is really really good, I can’t wait for the second season

  • Can anyone confirm this is in HDR/Dolby Vision?

    • +2

Just checked and they’re all listed as having Dolby Vision in the TV app. Timely as I’ve been looking for DV content since I got my Panasonic OLED this week

    • +1

HDR/ Dolby Vision/ Dolby Atmos for all shows.

  • +2

Apple TV+ is OK if you recently bought a Apple device and have a year free. I have watched a few of the shows that interest me, but do not go to the service as much as Netflix, prime or Disney.

It is not worth paying your moneys for a subscription though. Super preachy. The content itself, while beautifully produced, is Very Public Television.
And not much content there either. Compared to just about any other streaming service, the combination of a lack of content and its PC shackles means it is…barren.

Clearly an indulgence of an overpaid Northern California Apple executive.

  • Great! Started working today! Thanks heaps!!

Hmmm…. Apple TV studios… let me guess:

    • Immigrants are the best and we should flood our countries with infinite numbers (got to keep tax dollars high and wages down)
    • LGBTQIP+ themes need to be shown to children
    • Russia is evil, we should probably have WW3 with them one day
    • Pay gap exists
    • Straight white men are evil
    • Are you sure you're not transgender?
    • Christians are stupid (and evil)
    • Climate emergency - we are raping the planet - the world will end on Monday
    • etc

    Am I right?

    • -1

Oh my God, its infected Apple as well. I thought it was only netflix

  • Note that if you are on a Mac you need 10.15 Catalina or higher to download the app. So if you're still on Mojave or lower you are out of luck. (I am still on Mojave as lots of games won't work on Catalina. Boo.).
