One particular trend we have noticed is non-profit organizations being displaced or having to temporarily shutter their doors during this time, many of whom are now looking to transition to streaming as a means of continuing their efforts.

With this in mind, we’re offering free 12-month premium licenses to all qualifying Non-Profit Organizations. Those who are interested in getting started with streaming can send an email to non-profit[at]xsplit[dot]com, and a member of our team will get back to you.

From the entire XSplit team, we wish everyone the best during this challenging time.

Xsplit is more actively being developed. They are quick to add support for professional hardware and in the past their ui has been better. Not sure how it is now.

There was an OBS update today :)

      • Yeah, X-Split being more actively developed isn't true unfortunately. Have a look at the releases on the OBS GitHub, and you'll see that its being updated and released at a frequency which is truly impressive. Due to OBS's popularity and open source development, its going to be crazy difficult to keep up with pace (not to mention that OBS is on Mac, Linux and Windows which X-Split is not).
