  • dang, looking for the 65" equivalent.

  • Clearance as the Q75T is out, the 2020 model.

    • So far each new 2020 model looks to be replacing the one below it in the previous year. For example the new Q60T is worse than the outgoing Q60R and is actually below the RU8000. The Q75T is the replacement for the Q60R and so won't be as good as the Q75R.

      • wow….

so 2020 Q70T doesn't have full array backlight?

        • +1

Yep, that's right. Can't find any real reviews of it yet as this pandemic is slowing everything down.

Hdtv test did a review of the Q80T though and confirmed that it is a bit better than the Q70/Q75R.

Should be about the same price too and so will probably be the "sweet spot" price vs performance when it is discounted.

Only thing better than that bargain price is your description…

This is the cheapest I have seen this TV go for. How do I know? Because I bought this exact model/size in September for grand final day, and have been loving it ever since.
Bought with 28 degrees (price protection), paid $3236 for it. Price matched it from a deal here in November for $2916, and will be claiming the extra $69 tonight.

Great price, and a great TV.

    • +1

I hope that you have used it since the grand final. ;)

  • The 65” was on offer early feb @ approx 1620$ from appliance central. Havent seen a better deal after that…

    • Yeh for some reason that price just seems like a mistake that was honoured. Why go $350 lower than your nearest competitor on a premium tv?

  • +1

Good price, wish they had the 75" Q80R though.

    • Wouldn't that be a lot more expensive?

Got the 65" Q80R for $2931 back in October (TGG)

Bear in mind, this is the Q80T not the Q80R. This is actually more like this year's Q75R, not the Q80R.

      • +1

Yes i got the 65" Q80R also, great TV.

I was also looking for the 75" Q80R, hoping there would be some good discounts since it's last years model but there's no real deals to be found.

@Sirocco that's an awesome price for the 65"

  • Nice price

  • Ordered. Thanks OP!

  • Unsure whether this has the one connect box or not? DJ says says there is a one clear cable but nowhere else says so. Does anyone know what the deal is?

    • +1

From my understanding the one connect box is only reserved for Q80 and Q90 models.

      • whats the one clear cable provided for then? Is it so you can buy the one connect box separately? It's all so confusing…

        • You don't get any clear cable. The Q75 does not come with any other cable besides the power cable.

          I have one of these

          • @pformag: Thanks mate, on the DJ website it says there is a one clear cable to connect to the one connect box which doesnt make sense to me. Thanks for clearing it up.

            • @project larx: All good. I think the copypasta from they Q80 and Q90. I know the 2018 version had this feature. The Q70.

Great TV btw, very happy. Im in a room with loads of natural light, and it still only set to around 30% brightness

  • +1

Went to buy one of these but the deal seems to have expired as price on their website is back to $5,399.00

    • That's a crazy price for this TV, I got the Q90 75" for $5500.

      • Dj's are only competitive when they have a massive sale, their regular prices are a joke

  • I was waiting for this to drop below 3000$. But ended up buying Sony Z9F (last month)

  • Choosing between this one or LG OLED 65 inch….
    which one?
