It's so bad that they even gave Korea the Snapdragon.There is always so much hate for the Exynos - I've had it in all of mine and never had any issues with it, always been very happy with them, very quick (although I'm not really playing games, I'm a heavy user of multiple (and simultaneous) business type things on there).
I wonder if it's actually affecting anybody in real usability, or if it's just a benchmarks thing.

No there isn't, I have a Note 8 and Note 9. The Note 9 had some small differences I was aware of before going in. The 20 series is significantly differnet in performance, so much so Samsung is taking the piss
Even the shareholders at Samgsungs AGM complained this time, as well as the workers at Samsung saying they were embarresed Samsung had to use the Snapdragon in Korea so as not to upset their home market end users with comparatively poor performance.
Buy it if you are ok with it but be aware this is as bad as it gets in terms of performance difference. It should be fixed in next iteration, as Exynos starts using the licensed ARM designs, the same ones Snapdragon uses.

25% reduction in battery life on Exynos is pretty significant. Other reviewers are touting similar figures.
I think this is unacceptable if you are paying the same flagship money as people who get the snapdragon processor

Did they give us the exynos? I am not aware. I thought that they give snapdragon to aus market. The performance is clear, snapdragon beat exynos in all of the tests, some up to 20%.

Exynos in pretty much most of the world except for US markets due to licencing and legalities.
