15% off code stacks with the extra 12% off automatically applied in cart - comes out to $374 delivered for 1440p 144hz 27".
$12 more than the Futu deal last month but given the increase in demand from the WFH crowd seems like a decent deal still.

Looks like they removed the extra 12% off that was applied in cart. Have expired the deal now.
What you guys think of this one compared to the Samsung? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AOC-27G2-27-FHD-LCD-LED-144Hz-Fr…
Not affiliated, just trying to find a good gaming monitor (for PS4 and PC)
I bought one a few weeks ago for $300
It's very good for the price
Depends if you want 1440 or 1080 as your resolution. I wanted 1440 so I went with this model in the Futu deal and it's been treating me really well so far.
Hmm good point the Samsung is WQHD…. I've got a 24" with 1080p, how will that go at 27" (too stretched?)
Other main differences I can see between AOC and Samsung is:
-1ms vs 4ms response time (bugger all diff)
-IPS vs VA panel type
-flat vs curved screen type
-HDR vs not
If only we could squish all the good points together…
Neither of them have legitimate HDR support, it just accepts a HDR input.
The 24G2 (not the 27G2) would be a solid buy for PC, but you'd want to look into how the input latency performs at 60Hz to confirm console performance. PCMonitors.info do a great technical review.
If you're looking at the PS5 in the future, you might want to sit back and invest in upcoming 4k120Hz/4k144Hz options, specifically with HDMI 2.1 support.
Both of these options are mere stop gaps.

Guess I'll stick with what I have for now. Those upcoming options you speak of, this is due when roughly?
@PasqualeOz: Originally Q4, but if you want proper HDR, you might be better served with the LG 48CX TV, which still has the same pixel density as a 25" 1080p monitor.
Everything else affordable will be maybe 2000 dimming zones with clear halo effects in PC and high contrast games.
If HDR support isn't a huge issue, you could be looking at viable options under $600 by then, but again you will need to identify if HDMI 2.1 is supported.
I don't think I could do 1080 in a 27', but I've been gaming on a 4k 27' monitor (60fps though). But if its WQHD then its 1440 as well
The response time - I'm not pro enough to notioce
IPS vs VA - no idea, I think the screen looks fine but I'm not a videophile
Flat vs curved - with 2 different screens of similar size (27 and 28) I think I prefer the curved one, but viewing angle isn't a concern for me
HDR vs not - I'd check what sort of peak brightness is on the HDR of the samsung, if its hdr400 it might not make much difference? But if this is a big deal for you it might be worth it
I mainly play Apex Legends PS4 on a 1440P monitor and it looks really bad since the PS4 only supports 1080P
$12 more than the Futu deal last month
And that was $45 more than the best price seen. You wouldn't want to pay more than $350 for this monitor.
Damn missed out

Have a look at this one, maybe you might get price match. A lot better monitor than the one in the OP. Spec wise
Sorry, why is that a lot better? It's Viewsonic 1080p vs Samsung 1440p which is already apples to oranges apart; unless you are referring to the response rate?
Posted the wrong one.

@Phage: Thanks will take a look at it
I'm getting $425 after coupon
