      How? It's not Android and it's only got a 256k color screen compared to the Galaxy 5's 2.1 android with 16 million color screen

          2MP compares to 3.2MP and neither would be very good. When a 12MP camera can be bought for $100, you don't buy a ~$100 phone based on camera quality.

          Bigger Display & LCD Inch?
          Possibly, but 256k means the screen is nothing special. It'd look very bland and faded compared to the Galaxy

          More Inbuilt Memory
          Can be expanded with a card in the Galaxy. Can it be done with the Monte?

          Standby Time & Talktime
          Irrelevent given 3G phones these days die after a day's use anyway. You'll have them on a charger often.

          Better Design?
          SERIOUSLY? Is this official? I don't believe so. It's ALWAYS personal preference. Not worth any further discussion.

          The Galaxy 5 is still better

    Seems like a good price for an unlocked android phone, especially since it supports the Telstra 850MHz network. But i'd still prefer the Huawei IDEOS U8150 for $79 at DSE which include a 4GB Micro SDHC

        You can get it for $79 locked to virgin, and i'm sure there are methods on the net to unlock it for free or a small price.
