Years ago (15+) i used one and it was mainly for movies and some very old and obscure games you couldn't find anywhere else. Not sure of the advantages today since you can get most things via torrent and then you could get a vpn for really cheap (like surfshark in previous deals). I think the most positive thing would be that you shouldn't get slow speed and availability would always be 100%, while sometimes with torrents, if they are old, you would have 0 seeds.
