    Not shooting down on this post but I can never understand why skins are so much more expensive than a T-shirt. I would expect the manufacturing cost to be the same. I would rather buy a T-shirt with similar material to skin material, one size down.

      With the shorts/pants the other brands just keep falling down, I use the pants after a run and find my muscles need less time to recover. The Skins/2xu gear stays in place, the slazenger.diadora and maxx brands don't

      More expensive input materials than a T-shirt.
      More expensive design than a T-shirt.
      Branding.

      3 quick reasons of the top of my head, I'm sure people can think of many more. I am not saying these are good reasons, just reasons. A skins t-shirt also isn't just like a small t-shirt, there is quite a lot of design that goes into them.

    I'd be surprised if anyone putting these down has ever actually done serious physical activity before…

    There is a reason almost every player in AFL/NRL wear these tights under their playing shorts…and it isn't for hype or publicity.

      I use to get heaps of soft tissue injuries before wearing skins. Since I have been wearing them 4 years ago, I haven't had a single injury.

        Skins = compression [obviously if there is compression your fat cant wobble]
        BSc & 2XU = Stops your fat + soft tissue from wobbling

    Went to buy a top but there are no large left I have been using a couple of cheap diadora compression tops for bike riding would there be any benefit wearing a pair of the tights under my bike shorts?
