Suncorp Rewards. ING, etc. doesnt give you that.

I've already opened up a transaction account (which I don't use) so I can get suncorp rewards.
Is it worth opening up one of these instead or no difference?
Depends on which account you have? Essentially their fee free account their basic one is now gone and the one that they were offering a long-term fee waiver on is now the standard account. If you have whatever the basic account was just ring them and have them change your account type most banks allow for this and saves you reopening a new account.
Regardless if you're only using it to access the rewards it doesn't matter what type account you've got if there's no fees already.
If you open a Suncorp Everyday Option Account (there basic transaction account - $0 monthly fee). Does that give you access to Suncorp rewards? It can't see Suncorp rewards mentioned as a benefit attached to this account. I'd only want this free transaction account if it came with Suncorp rewards
That account is not the basic account, the basic account doesn't exist any more since they killed monthly account keeping fees as mentioned in that press release. I'm pretty sure all their transaction accounts make you eligible for Suncorp Benefits. Suncorp Rewards I believe is intended for their credit card offerings only.
What interest on such deposits???? Anything special here that you haven't been able to get from other established banks … ie ING, etc!!!
