For OP - there are comments on the product page that people originally paid $299 for these.

Looks decent for the price, grabbed a set thanks OP

  • looks good, however I got no knowledge of installation..

    • That may help you ,it's pretty easy https://youtu.be/oqfhGk8K2FA

    • You need to know how 3 things work:

      1. Nuts and Bolts.
      2. A Relay
      3. A switch.

Once you learn those, it's fairly straight forward.
Though I admit, if you're not electrically inclined, getting your head around a relay can take a few examples to understand.

      • 1.
        2.
        3.
        4. +ve vs -ve switching

        • I suppose; but most basic installs will switch the positive lead.

Also, I should say fuses learn where to fuse your wiring.

There are some good relays at Jaycar that come with a fuse holder built into them.

        • You just reminded me that my forester is negatively switched, thanks!

  • For the 9" driving lights, anyone know the total height with the bracket attached? I assume that it would be the 244mm dim.?
