I thought the price was goood, but the reviews for it are less then impressive and bad photo's don't make up for a cheap camera.
What are the Pics like - Reviews i read said it was a good camera back in March 2010

Have a look at their 'Sample Images' and decide for yourself.
sample images are taken in England so they look grey and lifeless

If you read the review and then enlarge the thumbnail you will see what they are talking about. Plus, if you use your line of logic of the photos being taken in the UK, every camera they review should get a poor review.
As I said, nice price, but after reading the review and looking at the enlarged pictures - its poor quality pictures doesn't inspire me to own one and it speaks loudly when the review recommends the superseded model over this one.
yeah, I was making a joke.
besides, I wouldn't buy a superseded PAS at that price.
Actually I have to correct myself - the model I got earlier this year was the W350, not the W380. The specs are almost identical except mine only does 4x zoom.
This is a superceded model - the W3X0 series was replaced with the W5X0 series over 6 months ago. Anyway, I have this camera (in silver) and I paid $179 back in Feb. So this is a good price but the model is old.
