  This is their new(?) "Extra soft" gum, which is, as stated, extra soft.
  To me, after chewing this for about 2 minutes gives the same texture as chewing normal gum for 30.

  Just an FYI

  I buy extra gum all the time. This new soft chew gum is made in China.

  The normal extra chewy is made in Australia.

  I prefer, when I can, to put local food in my mouth.

  For those who are interested; many of the flavours contain the perfectly safe, manufactured by Monsanto, artificial sweetener - Aspartame (951).

    Good thing too, because chewing gum with real sugar is quite bad for your teeth!

      Correct, that's why if you must chew gum those sweetened with sugar alcohols (xylitol, sorbitol, mannitol, etc) are a much better option. The artificial sweeteners such as Aspartame, Sucralose and Acesulfame-k have been found to have damaging effects on good gut bacteria even in small doses.
