        Normal Sim.
        I don't think ANY USB modems use a microsim.
        If you want, you can cut it with a microsim cutter from ebay or DX.

  i got a 9Gb one for $49 earlier this year (180 days)…

  yeah, reception is pretty crap, but no worse than Virgin Mobile…

  Nothing special about 4GB/30-day for $24.50, No so nice as the 6 month 9GB for $49.

  But what is interesting, is that the modem works on 850 MHz.

  Not a bad deal, $24.50 isn't a bad price for the usb modem and 4gb of data, but apart from that there's nothing special about this deal. For $29 you can get 5gb of data on the Optus network…
