Blackridge Air Compressor D/Drive 2.5HP 180LPM + Spray Gun Kit + Air Hose - $249.99 (RRP $541.66) + Delivery @ Supercheap Auto

Blackridge Air Compressor Direct Drive 2.5HP 180LPM - RRP $299.99
+ Blackridge Air Spray Gun Kit, HVLP - 4 Piece - RRP $189.99
+ Blackridge Air Hose - 9.5mm x 10m - RRP $51.68

Can't comment on the quality, but several reviews suggest it's at least a decent bang for buck, domestic use, direct drive compressor.
Don't expect it to outperform a decent, locally made belt driven industrial compressor, but it should perform admirably enough for it's price point, especially at this discounted price.

My dad's old compressor finally died last week, time to convince the missus it needs replacing. Wish me luck!

Regular deal. Bloody noisy compressor. One of the noisiest cheapies I have used. The fittings in the air kit aren’t too crash hot either. That said it does it’s job and is still going a year on now.

Hhmmm for the price is worth it, but who would pay full RRP for it

  • Good luck with the approval from missus. Understand your feelings, I finally got approval to replace my old TV only after first one died :-)
Moral of the story: you are more likely to be successful once existing equipment/appliance is dead

    • It's amazing what a USB killer will do to a TV……. :D

That RRP is utter bullcrap. Think of this as max $50 off. Thats all it's worth

(Note I don't own one.. But blackridge is a cheapie brand and direct drive is bleh)

  • My last direct drive compressor with a 40L tank cost $120 with hoses, why is there nothing this cheap anymore?

    • I agree. I still have an old one from Super Cheap 10 years going strong, came with hose and basic attachments and unit for $99 or around abouts.

  • Link just goes to a picture of the air compressor.

Here is the actual link to the deal,

Thanks for that, I originally had that very link in there, but it came with no picture.
When I uploaded the picture, it appears to have broken the link….
