That's a lot of lights do you have a landing strip.

    • +3

Which landing strip are you talking about?

      • +1

I heard she prefers the lights off.

  • I'm looking for something like this, are these powerful? Anyone own them?

    • +2

Not as powerful as the one I got from Gearbest…. $16.61 plus $1.86 registered mail….
A couple dollars more but worth it…Have both items… Both from Gearbest but a lot brighter….208 Leds Vs 100 Leds

    • Aldi has a Honeywell branded one which is linkable. Not as cheap but you can return it in 60 days if you don't like it. Comes with 3 years warranty.
I went through a few cheaper ones before, most died in about a year.

I got a similar, or the same, model from Aliexpress. 4 for about $40 delivered. Very bright, and holding up well so far. Prior to that I had the squarish one with side LED's, 2 of which broke after a few weeks each. One of them had an exploded battery. The explosion was strong enough to crack the external casing. So be careful with what you get, as they are a potential fire hazard.

    • in a similar situation, bought 4 from aliexpress in the past and 3 arrived DOA. cracked them open and the batteries were swollen….no refund, no customer service what so ever, a complete waste of money.

promised myself I wouldn't buy anymore unless it's from eBay where PayPal can step in… hope this helps those that are on the fence about purchasing - don't.

  • Price came up as $18.02 after conversion of USD $11.54.
OP how did you manage to get down to $13.76? or you mean USD?

    • -1

Shows up as $8.99 for me.

      • +1

Add $1.50 cheapest shipping and gst on goods

    • i think you need to choose registered air mail, and i paid in AUD

    • I also wonder how OP got 13.76. Doubt that's the AUD price with priority shipping…

  • I love how big they make it look in the pictures, I might need to borrow their advertising team 😂

    • Even then, you will have to meet in person. 🤭

  • Would these be good in the case of power outage and use it as indoor lights (considered it's been charged during the day)?

  • On ebay you can get 208 LEDs for $13.5 shipped each if you buy pack of 4.

  • +1

Not sure if it is the same model but this one from eBay offers higher brightness (1000lm) with a bigger battery (2200mAH). Price for 4 is $43.80 ($10.95 per unit).

    • Are you sure? This eBay page obviously reads:

      Unit price:AU $43.80 EACH
4 or more for AU $42.49 EACH

      • Yes, it's a bundled price. When you choose 4PCS-100LED, Each means 4PCS at $43.80 which works out to be $10.95.

If you buy 4 of it, you will be buying 4 x 4PCS = 16PCS.

        • Thanks for the clarification.
To achieve $10.95 per unit, I need to buy total 16 of them. Wow, they can really make a landing strip.

          • @tooblue: No, you just need to choose 4PCS-100LED and then Buy 1 AU $43.80 each. 4 units at $43.80 makes it $10.95 per unit.

            • @trex: It's simple to understand from my end 😂😂😂

              Anyone bought and tested?

              • +1

@[Deactivated]: My order will be arriving on 28th Feb. Will let you know then ;)

              • +1

@[Deactivated]: eBay shipment arrived today. I’m pretty impressed by the brightness but I don’t know how well the unit would fare being exposed to the elements. Time would tell

                • @trex: Awesome
                  Thank you
                  I spose we can't expect too much for $10 a unit 😁

  • Blitzwolf ones are great

    • I bought a couple of Blitzwolf BW-OLT1 and liked it but it only as 62 LED and 350lm compared to this one with 100LED and potentially 1000lm.

  • Not sure if I've missed something, but I have two of these (or at least they look exactly the same, not sure of the brand) and they work generally nice and are quite bright. But, it seems that whenever the battery goes completely flat, the lights forget the mode they were in, and end up being off. So I'll have to reach to them and press the little button to turn them on again. Which is a pain as they are mounted high up on the wall outside.
