150

These clubs are $749.99 in store, but for some reason they are $100 cheaper online. Postage included.

Seems like a decent deal for an entry level set of Callaway club's. Good reviews too.

Great comparison of the driver vs the new top of the line Rogue driver which is 3 times the price. It's just as accurate and only 10 yards shorter.

    • Another video from Rick regarding this set. https://youtu.be/dxHLtcHWnzI

For those who don't know, this Edge set isn't available in golf stores but it looks like a good price for the quality, especially with the Odyssey putter.

    Steel Shaft, ladies

    You're just bragging.

I was just about to make the same comment. Well played

good for beginners, cavity backs are easier to hit with more room for error!

    • +2

Not just beginners. Cavity backs are better for most golfers.

      • -3

yeah but getting blades once u have improved, u will see a big difference, if u have improved hehe

I play with rocketbladz, not full blades but I can see the extra distance in my shots, previously had maxfli cavity backs. but they are less forgiving (few more shanks lol) but I get them pretty sweet 90 percebtod the time

        • +1

It's highly unlikely that you'll get extra distance with blades. The small benefits are extra feel, workability/shaping of the shot due to a smaller head, and looks. The drawbacks are less forgiveness which leads to loss of accuracy both from a dispersion and distance control perspective.

Paid 300 for my Cobra Baffler XL clubs - and they played one round :P - Golf apparently is stupidly hard haha. Not to mention expensive!

  • The putter itself is already over $100 at least especially with the SuperStroke grip.

  • Just FYI you’ll need to buy a bag separately.

    • It comes with bag I just rang n asked

      • yet there is no mention of a bag in the description that I could see. If it came with a bag would be great

        • +1

It comes with bag and it’s a newer model then the one instore

          • @Dex38313: Might be worth renewing membership for that then.

            • +1

@Robski7777: I’m waiting for a call back from online team t c if instor and online set r the same and 3 melbourne stores said includes bag but I want to be 100% first

      • if it comes with the bag that's pretty good, old model didn't, bag was 150 I think

      • The 10 piece set does not come with a bag. There are 2 bags that I have seen. A $200 one in store, and the $180 one online.

        • Ringwood docklands and Epping say it comes with bag but waiting on a call to be 100%

I have seen the Callaway clubs (not sure if exact set as this) that retail at costco for $749 with instore coupons of at least $150 off even up to $250? in past making the set $599 or $499. Keep an eye on the costco brochures if you are able to wait.

  • Good to know there’s some golfers here, anybody in Melb want to connect? I just started, would like to know more 100 strokes golfers.

      On the course?

    • +2

I like to play at least 300-400 shots per round to feel like I've got my moneys worth

      • So you spend close to 5+ hours on the course I'm guessing, unless those extra shots are all penalties.

  • +$60 for non members, bugger we let ours expire 3 yrs ago

  • +1

Too all those that want to know the set in Costco is $749.99
    And no bag
The set online is the new set $649 delivered
But both sets don’t include the 3 4 or 5 irons
    I’m in Costco now

    • Did you purchase?

      • +1

Online is $100 cheaper I’m getting two sets

        • So the set online is newer? are they better and did you get conformation regarding the bag when purchased online? Cheers Rob

          • +1

@Robski7777: The set in Costco is 2018 the set on line is the new model
And getting a call about the bag tomorrow morning from the online team to c if free but the online prive for new model is $100 cheaper then old model and yes 3 4 5 irons arnt include

    • So you would have to buy a 3 and 5 separately at roughly $200 per club.

    • Cancelling Costco's membership. There items could be more cheaper but they usually are not.

      • Iv been a memebe since 09 and and have found all items that I’m after cheaper

    • +1

But both sets don’t include the 3 4 or 5 irons

      no 5 iron?
thats like the 'can do anything' club in the bag :)

  • +1

I could understand dropping the 3…. but no 4 iron or 5 iron is disappointing. It isn't a complete set!

  • +4

Ok just had the call from Costco online
This set is the new 2020 model and graphite $649
The instore model is 2018 model and stainless steel shaft
$749 and both come with no golf bag but is only $179
    Hope this helps
