    Keep in mind that only 5 of the 200+ reviews actually refer to the fan being offered.

    98% refer to the previous model. Deceptive? Very.

    So we know the previous version was better than the current Kogan one.

    How does the previous Kogan one compare to the Xiaomi DC fan?

    Or the orignal Kambrook one which the original Kogan one is based from?

        Some OzB users with both kogan fans have reported the previous version has a more premium feel (more solid).

          OK. Splitting hairs id say, for $60odd bucks id say its pretty hard to beat.

            @Xizor: I think it's a good price.

            Two advantages of the new one….. 1) it remembers the last selected fan speed when turning back on. 2) it has a more sensible 12 speeds, not 36!

                @Xizor: Oh yes, original was super bright led. I applied 5 layers of window tint to soften the display for bedroom use.

                The new one is sounding better and better.

      Ive got the previous kogan and the kambrook. I certainly prefer the stand, display and firmware of the kambrook.

      Sadly, it still remains a pretty penny.

    Previous one had much better functionality, better build quality and much quieter for a given blast level. I have both. This one is ok for the price but nothing special.
