It's that time of the year again when Aldi sell roses at a dirt cheap price. Doesn't look like the 50 stemmed roses is an available this year.

Do these smell like roses ? Lately most bought flowers aren't. It's like factory made.
It's like factory made.
Here's the Aldi factory staff packing them for the stores…
This is the manufacturing department…
Thats due to refrigeration

WTF - was $50 for 50 last year.
Hopefully, with the increase in price, they provide better quality. I bought once from them and never again. 50 roses that smelt like shit.
most florist ive bought from in the last few years remove the scent for sensitive people which unfortunately makes the roses less nice
To be honest, it felt like it was rotten.
That's really bad, thanks for the heads up
remove the scent?!
How do you remove the scent from flowers? My bad florist don't remove it themselves apparently they have genetically modified roses to be more robust and looking better then scent. Who would of thought

That must have been the fertiliser. ;)

Today I learned "Aldi" is German for "love".
You will now also learn that it is Arabic for 'which'…
As someone that speaks fluent German I can tell you with certain that is not true haha.
Haha liebe is LOVE in german.
Got a dozen at Coles on weekend for $12…
No deal…
These are "free" if you walk around most neighbourhoods. Not sure how this is a deal, when it's almost $20 more.

Actually do women nowadays want flowers, spending $20 on something else is prob be more practical.
Yep, would rather by something useful like an iron for the Mrs.
Please tell us how that goes…after you get out of hospital that is lol
Nah all good. My wife knows where her duties are..

Aww man, i understand the practicality. But come on… you must see what might cause an issue hahaha goodluck though
How about a scale?
You need more, like $35~40 for the more "practical" item going off recent deals.
I do - but only if I'm working at the office that day, it's kinda a brag fest. Though the record was one girl (international) got sent a puppy and balloons in the same box. HR wasn't too pleased.
Anyone in Perth want to do a Group buy and get one each?
Valentines Day again. Any deals on tissues?
And hand cream?
surprised no one asking for a bunnings price match lol

This is the trick. After valentines day, she will put them in some box or drawer somewhere, then you can find them and reuse them for next year haha. After maybe 3 years you might have to buy real flowers to offset the suspicion that you are using the same fake flowers over and over.
