  • I saw this pop up today. Anyone got any feedback on this bad boy?

it depends on how desperate you are for 4k/60 on a 28"…

It is only TN, with all due respect to their quantum dot tech I doubt it does much for colour accuracy and viewing angles.

I have the equivalent Acer 28" but it was only $250.

That's about all I'd pay for 4k60 TN at 28"…. I think many of us would sacrifice 4k for say 27" 1,440p 144hz and basic freesync.

    • Great monitor. Compared to ips Asus this was brighter and nicer

    • I thought QLED was only for VA panels, guess not. I've tried a TN 4K monitor (not this one) and it was awful. Terrible viewing angles made it mostly unusable. There was colour shift if your head wasn't perfectly aligned at the centre. I'd say it's probably similar for this one. I would recommend an IPS.

This one has no issues with viewing angles

Its a special film they place over it. This monitor has clearly had some improvement to it as 90%+ tn monitors are 160/160 degree angles while this is advertising 170/160.

  • If you interested in this and not sure what it's like head to Harvey's and have a comparison of it next to others that is what I did and it looked really good

    I just recently went from a Samsung 28inch 4k to a Viewsonic 27inch 1440P IPS with 144hz. Best move I've done.

    • Hi, a gecko just short circuited my Sammy 4k and I’ve been thinking about the same move as you - which viewsonic did you go with in the end? I’m casual FPS gaming and programming, assume it’s the VX2758-2KP-MHD?

    • This literally tells us nothing. What was the original monitor model?
