Out of curiosity, how do you guys make profit if youre selling them below rrp?

Or are you trying to flog off unsold tickets at a loss?

    • +1

They profit off plenty of other events and concerts because thtey are essentially scalpers. On occasion when ticket sales fall below expectations, they beg and plead with OzBers to try and offset their losses.

        • +3

          I’ll leave it thanks.

        • +2

          leave it

      • +1

yes they appear to be very dodgy

      • +1

Still curious, if youre not an authorised/affiliated reseller, how do you obtain so many tickets?

I cant imagine them lining up at ticketek on day 1 buying up

And youd have to get them below face value to sell them later to makr a profit?

Don’t buy from these mob whose entire business model is scalping tickets

Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster resale are almost identical in price. and you’re at least guaranteed an actual working tickets, unlike purchasing through a scummy third party reseller.

    • -7

Our tickets work, 100% guaranteed. We are a 3rd party re-seller. We mark tickets up no different to every other product in society.

      • How do you guarantee the tickets will work though?

      • +4

Hold on a minute while I cut off the water supply to your house and then charge you a premium as a "third party reseller" who is "entitled to make profit like every other product in society"

Actually no, not everything is welcomed or wanted by society and ticket scalping generally isn't.

I get a better view from my couch.

    $520 + 2% + $9.95 saved.

I’ve been to the final at AO and some court matches and I agree with you. The only best time to go is outside matches first or second week or entry to the grounds and on the big screen. For years I watched tennis with mates on big screen at home with surround sound and it’s great

      Plus not supporting a scalper.

  • +1

Can't you just pay via credit card and charge back if you have a problem?

It's not illegal to sell tickets below cost although I'd want a sizeable discount to buy from these guys. I.e. if tickets are a similar price to Ticketmaster resale, this is not a good deal.

Hate scalpers - using bots to beat actual patron's and then selling it at a profit is BS. I hope they introduce legislation to curb this sort of behaviour.

  • $199 ticket at start for a single was a bargain .

  • +1

In Australia, it’s illegal to resell tickets above 10% of original price. I’d report these guys

    • +3

They are bad boys selling at 30-70% losses then .
      Call the Copper's !

      .

      • Show me where the original ticket price was $800+ ? AO site shows max price at $397

  • If your theory of selling 10% above ticket cost is correct .

You had better close down ticketswap where 100,000 of ticket have been sold at up to 20% above cost .

    • No theory, it’s law, google it
