$60 more expensive than their previous best deal but still a better price than what is currently available in the wider market.
Very good panel based on reviews and ozBargain anecdotes. I personally own one and jumping from a basic $150 Samsung 1080p monitor to this was a massive improvement. Took me a few days for my eyes to adjust.
HDR is a gimmick - you can forget about it. The only real HDR is from monitors that can emit 1000nits+ of peak brightness, and they're in the thousands of dollars range.
Great colours & excellent motion blur out of the box. You get a factory calibration report from LG. A few minor adjustments in the settings will give that added touch. I had to adjust my R-G-B ever so slightly (49-51-51) to get the colour close to the sRGB setting. But of course using a proper calibration tool will do you much better.
Lastly, according to this calculator (https://stari.co/tv-monitor-viewing-distance-calculator) the ideal viewing distance for a 27' 1440p monitor is roughly 80cm for visual acuity. Interesting!
- 27", QHD 2560x1440, 144Hz Nano IPS With DCI-P3 98%
- AMD's FreeSync + NVIDIA certified as G-SYNC compatible (will work out of the box if you're using a NVIDIA GPU, no configuration needed)
- 1ms GTG Input Lag (Don't go 'Very Fast', Use the stock settings out of the box!)
- 2x USB 3.0 at the back via USB Passthrough (takes one USB port on your computer)
