310

Subscribe Today have a "Summer Sale" on at present where you can get 6 issues of monthly magazines for $15.

Lots of titles to choose from.

Be aware that it will put you onto a rolling 6-month subscription after your first 6 months so if you're not wanting to continue the subscription remember to cancel it.

They don't have an end date to the sale listed on their site other than calling it a "summer sale" so it's anyone's guess at to when this sale ends.

Titles include:
Mens Health
Womens Health
InStyle
Marie Claire
Better Homes & Gardens
Home Beautiful

Also available WHO and New Idea are both 6 issues for $6 however those are weekly publications.

Nice find OP, I was contemplating a subscription to one of these magazines - thanks!

  • Will this help me lose weight?

    • +5

Yes, if you consume them without sugar.

      • +2

        Very high in fiber!

        • If I read about thin people selling fibre, sugar products and protein powder, maybe I'll put weight on. So this deal has to be good for the underweight among us

Have no idea which one is more fake and worse then the other. Issues and insecurities welcome.

    • Mens health would probably be the worst as it's dudes jacked up on steroids selling ineffective supplements. The others might be vapid, but they don't use dangerous or illegal behaviour to push useless junk.

If you don't mind digital you should be able to get access to these for free with your library membership through PressReader and/or RBdigital.

    • Came here to comment this too. Do need tablet though for these to be user friendly

Thanks OP. Does anyone know if you can cancel straight away and still get the 6 issues?

        Their T&C's say the below:

Your subscription will continue until cancelled. Cancel at any time and receive magazines through to the end of your last billing period.
When you subscribe to a Pacific Magazines Pty Ltd title, Pacific agrees to deliver a print or digital copy of your favourite magazine to you for the duration of your purchased subscription term. The price includes of the cost of the magazine and delivery where applicable.

Seems like you can cancel anytime within your subscription period and still receive what you've paid for, i.e. the 6 month's worth of issues as per this deal.

I feel the need to forward these to my GP. Perhaps then I'll get something more up to date than Charles and Diana's wedding

Can read these for free at library

$15 too expensive..unless of course you really wanted print copies of the magazines.
If not, go sign up for a library card at your local library, then sign up for eMagazine with rbdigital for that library. Different library has different magazines to choose from including back catalogue.
As far as I am aware, you get permanent access to the eMagazine once you check them out.

    Example: https://www.rbdigital.com/melbourne/service/magazines/landin…?

  • I have the PressReader app on my iPad. Used to just download magazine when flying with Qantas but they stopped that a while back. Then when selecting the 'hotspot' view in the app I found multiple locations (mainly libraries, but also some hotels, Virgin and Cathay lounges etc) that provide access to PressReader for free. Money Magazine, T3, Top Gear, Fortean Times, BBC History, Decanter, taste.com.au etc - you name it, it's probably there. Once you have downloaded it, it's there forever. I generally work out a time once a month when I drop by the local library, connect to the wifi, and then download the latest issues of my favourites.

  • Says on the bottom summer sale ends in 4 days.
