  What is the lifecycle of an ssd? How more reliable are they compared to a HDD?

    well theres no spinning parts so theres that for you. a drop to the same degree as what would be required to break a HDD would not put a dent into it's form and function. it's also miles quicker than a HDD. Write speed is where the party is at….dw about the read speed (even though its bloody fast). The new T7 is even faster with a USB 3.2 Gen 2 connection.

    The T5 (in my experience) though dearer than your regulation HDD is worth every cent.
