All my mothers group members bought the personalised bento box for about $49 I think (large size). i must admit these personalised kids products are cute, and they tug at the heart when you see their name on it but i couldnt digest the price point. i saw this at WW last night from the manchester/ haberdashery section and it's cheaper than normal food containers in the same brand. i know it's not airtight and technically not designed for food, but i am willing to try!

I also agree the $40+ bento style lunch boxes are a total waste but this is a little too cheap for me. Not designed for food storage in terms of air-tight sealing. There's a heap of much cheaper bento box options out there including a smash one that I've seen half price at WW $10 before.
Edit: this one
https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/55940/smas… - $10 right now
or this one for $9
https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/55494/smas…I'd grab one of these instead of a plastic that's not probably food safe
I bought the $9 one for my kids. The $10 was just too difficult to open, even for me.
My son used the $9 one for the last term of school. It's sturdier than the Sistema bento range so I'll be buying these ones from now on. I use it with the Smash Nude Food lunch box bags and it fits perfectly.
Toddler Snack Lunch Box Sistema 1.7L
No wonder we have an obesity crisis!!!
It's not even big enough to fit a toddler, what a rip
Aldi had the 2L lunch boxes for $5 last week, may be good if you can still get them.
your children are being raised in the way of the ozbargainer, i approve!
