Bought a pair, Thanks! I’ve been wanting a pair of these. I’ll have to return the Jabra pair I bought earlier in the week from EB.

    • How do you return it after you use it?

      • +1

Thankfully, I haven’t opened them yet as I only picked them up on Friday and have been running around ever since so never got a chance to. Just good timing overall.

      • They came today. They are AMAZING! No regrets!

  • Bought these over a year ago for $195, and I love them. The blue color is pretty subtle in real life, but still very good looking.

    • How’s the call quality outside?

      • +1

Really good unless you're in wind. Even then you can just cup your hand over the mic on your right ear.

I have to say the case battery for these is crap in that it seems to last maybe 5 days before it needs recharging. Its as if the headphones don't really 'sleep' when in the case and they keep discharging and the case keeps recharging them. this means I basically keep the case plugged into a USB port. I've had other wireless headphones that do not operate in this way and you could have gone to use them after two weeks to find the phones charge and the battery in the case half full sadly its not the case with this case/headphones.

I've never noticed as I use mine religiously everyday Monday-Friday. Great buds though, sound quality is top of the class.

    • +2

Yep I have experienced this. They basically stay "Bluetooth searchable" on even when in the case.

  • +1

Only thing I don’t like about these is if you use them for a couple of hours your ears are a little sore after, they are very well fitted though have never had them fall out and the sound is great.

    • The ear soreness thing is of course different for everyone. I never have problems and I wear them for a full battery drain, then I recharge and wear them again after 30 minutes or so.

  • Scored these for $20 on one of those eBay very limited quantity deals.

They have been pretty great so far and quite the upgrade from my $8 eBay hv-800 which I still recommend I'm the sub $10 category.

    • $20? That's insane

    • +1

$20.. dayam I thought I did well with the $79 refurb I picked up a few weeks ago. Great buds very happy with them

I found the audio lag (sync) intolerable when watching video, and resold mine soon after purchase.

    • Did anyone else find it to be the same? I ask because its what ill most use them for

      • +1

        Google "soundsport free sync issues".

I bought them to use at the gym in place of my qc35s. Most of the video I watch is on YouTube, but in comparison to the qc35s (no lag) the lag using the freesports was terrible.

I can't comment on the Bose, however I've recently started using Galaxy Buds and they don't have any lag when watching videos. :)

        • Well, I thought it was helpful!

    • This.

The audio latency is horrendous (up to half a second in my experience) and makes content from YouTube or Netflix basically unwatchable. Video playback is my primary use case for headphones with my mobile (Pixel 4XL). I returned mine for a refund.

That said, the sound quality and noise isolation is FANTASTIC. They're definitely worth considering if all you use them for is for voice calls and music.

    • Yup, it's a known problem. I've got a pair and only use it for music. Can't use it for video or games.

    • I was lucky enough to grab one of the refurbs. For a week I had terrible latency when playing PUBG, updated to the latest firmware and now no issues. Try updating the firmware maybe?

    • My first pair were like this but my new pair from the $79 refurb deal (I received a brand new pair for $0) have no audio lag. Not sure if this is due to a software or hardware update on Bose's end but the issue is no longer there.

  • +1

Got mine free from last refurbished deal with price error. So far the quality is good but i have audio lag from time to time. It doesn't bother me much as i am a audio noob and only use them about 1 hour every day on the way to work

    • +2

      Free? Not $79?

      • I got them free as well. $0, got a brand new pair of black.

      • Ya free for me too!!

    • +1

Free! that's awsome. Mine were $80 with that pricing error, I'm still happy with that price. I haven't opened them (they are still sealed) yet because I already have a set. The $80 are my backup. Great headphones.

  • +3

Got mine brand new from price error last time for $79, been using in the gym, perfect for workout. Never comes off while running and battery backup is really good too. Not to mention the sound which is tremendous.

    • -2

Won’t recommend it for gym if you are trying to seal out the gym noise and music. Really bad sound isolation IMO and ears get sore after prolonged use. A good buy otherwise.

      • +1

Might be different for everyone. I never had issue with noise isolation nor my ears were sore.
