An online "exclusive"…

Quick snippet.

  • Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium Edition 64-bit
  • Intel® Pentium® Dual Core Processor E5800 3.2GH
  • Integrated 21.5" Panel
  • 4GB DDR3 Memory
  • 1TB Hard Disk Drive
  • NVIDIA GeForce G210 with 512MB dedicated

Click on the link, under the "for home use" tab, click on "online store exclusive offer". Free shipping I'm also lead to believe.

Not sure about the quality of these machines, but a $500 saving lit my eyes up. Bet they still make a profit from it, though.

  • Might want to mention in the description that it's an All-in-one desktop, which are significantly more expensive than regular (ATX) desktops.

    • That's because they include monitors and have a slim form to take up less space. Equally that means more expense and compromised design/upgrade path (like laptops).

    • Edited, thanks :)

  • pretty good….

That's an antique, 3 year old computer.

Slow miserable specs, you can do way better for the price

    • it not 3 years old it barely a year http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Docu…

and what other all in one desktop can i get at $800

The specs are 3 years old you noob. For 800 you can get a MUCH better PC custom built with parts from msy or pccg.

$800 of a system running an E5800 is a joke. Take $500 off THAT price and I still wouldn't buy it, though I would give it a thumbs up.

Those specs are HORRIBLE for $800, absolutely no deal here.

weird the processor was launched q4 2010
must be a recent low budget range
it seems not bad for the benchmark though

For about $200~300 extra you could buy a touchscreen all-in-one running a Core i3 (either Nehalem or Sandy Bridge)

IMO all-in-ones are a huge pain in the butt since they're limited in terms of upgrades / repairs. Better to just buy a standard ATX desktop and keep it under the desk if you want to save on space.
