    Not worth $3.75 anymore.

    • Why?

    • +9

why not? My wife and i get 2 different types and have them for din-dins occasionally, we quite like them.

      • +3

        Gotta love the din-dins

        • +1

$7.50 din-dins for two is not to be sneezed at, even by an OzBargainer ;)

Being Italian, I can only tell you guys this is everything but pizza…
Not blaming anyone for liking it.

    • You don't need to be Italian to know that tbh 🤷‍♂️

    • Please explain why they sell well in Rome?

      • Same reason shit sausages sell well in Australia and shit hummus in Lebanon. It's cheap, convenient, and some people don't care for taste.

    • +2

For $3.75 no one expects gourmet pizza. It's cheap, it's convenient, it's quick. Pizza is also now an international food with many variations. Italy doesn't have a patent on it.

went to rome and ate at the most popular pizzeria. full of locals and had to line up for an hour or so. pizza wasn't amazing at all - ive had better pizzas from dominos

      • -1

That’s what I meant… you like dominos, fine by me, but pizza is another thing and no one is asking you to like it, just don’t say dominos or dr oetker is pizza, please

    • Is the "authentic" one the one they sell at 400 Gradi? cause if it is, then I don't want any.

  • Yeah they went downhill about 12 months ago when they started making it in another country.
The crust went to shit and the amount of topping went down even further and the way it was made showed there was hardly any quality control.

Once was a great pizza for $3.75 if you also added some of your own toppings but now not worth it.

    • Different flavours appear to be made in different countries. The 2 I prefer are made in Germany and always have been.

      • +1

        Which flavours?

        • +1

Mozzarella and quattro formaggi. They make a very nice base to which I just add some ham or salami of my liking.

      • I usually only buy the pepperoni one, and they have gone from awesome to almost inedible now, at least for me.

    • +1

      Ah a cultured fellow gourmand!

Unfortunately, I'd have to agree, it all went to hell in the past year, and had no idea why.

Usually stocked up quite a few when they are on sale, cos they are awesome at half price, but the last batch I bought tasted 'wrong'.

Still have one in the freezer, been sitting there for a few months.

Have to clear it out soon.

  • Spinach gang. Also speciale gang.

  • herr dokter..i have come again

I saw these ones being sold in groceries in Rome.

If these are sold well in Italy, it must be good!

    • Yes and yes. Yes: they are good for a frozen meal, especially if you add some extra fresh toppings during the bake. And yes: they are nothing like Italian pizza.

    • Who said that if a crap product is sold in Italy then automatically it’s good?

      • If it sells, then it MUST be good.

If it wasn't good, it wouldn't sell.

        • BS, things can also sell only because they are cheap, not because they are good

  • Time to fill the freezer up

  • I low key love these crap pizzas

    • These are my least favourite. But at least it has less carbs.

  • My go to for pepperoni as the crust isn't too thick and doughy like most pizzas.

  • I stopped eating them when it triggered a painful reaction from my gallbladder.

Ew. Money better spent on Dominos $5 value range, and that's saying something.

Alternatively, the semi fresh pizzas in the coles/woolworths fridge are like $3-4 all the time, and better than this.
