  • Hi Rep, any 2-3 days cruise from Perth in February?

  • hi any 3 to5 days departure from Sydney this year? planning to take my in laws to have a short one as it is their first time. thanks!

  • Never had cruise before, whats the suggestion of cabin/bed configuration of 2adults with 1 kid (5yo)?
Dont mind having the kid on the same bed but would they allow it?
    Kids pay the same price?

    • most lower cost cabins on cruise ships have 2 beds (put them together for a king size) the extra bed in cabins can be pull out couch or a drop down from the roof double bunk called upper pullman (basically good for kids upto teens).

  • Never been on a Cruise, can someone explain this tipping business?
something about auto charged in your account per day per person?
    What account?
Why isn't it included in fare price?
This is an Australian cruise so what gives? Don't they pay their staff fairly?

    • +1

Tipping isn’t required on Carnival Australia from what I understand

      • Thanks for that…the cruisesalefinder site confused me in their FAQ section with:
"The most common way cruise lines suggest tipping, is that they add a suggested amount to your daily onboard account. You can choose to keep that on your account or you can ask the purser to remove it. This suggested amount is divided out amongst your cabin steward, your dinner waiter, your assistant waiter, your wine steward, and maitre d’."
Then i started googling tipping on cruises and went urgh…
