… and it makes anything you put into unhealthy. For example if you blend fruit you might as well just grab a Coke, the effects are similar. It's ideal for rubes brainwashed by marketing that think processed food is healthier than unprocessed food.

So instead of my morning spinach, kale, banana and oats protein shake (here comes the protein powder lecture), I should just be grabbing a Coke? Similar effects?

This is one of the dumbest things I’ve read on the internet for a while. Maybe we’re not all “brain washed nubes” and just want the convenience of a blender.

not sure why Diij1 is being negged. He's actually right and the reverse happens when you put already processed foods into the nutrient extractor.

i.e. I throw hotdogs into it for breakfast and the effect is the same as eating raw, unprocessed kale. it creates superfoods from junk food, all without the stigma of eating nerd-food, like kale.

And the source of your misinformation is…?

    Good find, OP!

  • can you get other blade types for different purposes like chopping?

If that's what you want then you need a food processor, not a blender.

      • I don't really want that I was just wondering. It would be good if it could that too though

  • This goes below $170 when good Guys/Ebay do the 20% sale. I got one for someone just before Christmas.
