That would be classified under Mobile Recharge, which gift cards can be used for payment (same as Opal Topup).
INTERESTINGLY I bought a Google Play gift card with a Coles Gift card AT COLES after being told it wouldn't work. Activated and used just fine.
Be very careful on the hotel card. Their price is not very competitive from what I heard. But of course I could be wrong and you need to do the research.
Be aware that Spotify Premium gift card cannot be used to pay for Premium Family (no Family gift card either).

Why would they do that?
They don't sell Premium Family gift cards, they want Family to renew via subscriptions. Guess there's less chance of Family unsubscribing so they want to make the most profit this way?
Hack tip: You can open a chat with Spotify support pleading ignorance (true in my case), saying that the gift card you bought does not work with your Premium Family account. They are understanding and will credit the gift card value to your Premium Family account.

My local Officeworks played hard ball and refused to price match unless they can see an actual price (which is not easy because woolies have removed iTunes from their online store so you can't see a discounted price). Guess I'll just get it from woolies itself.

I did. They played hardball and said needed an "actual price". Its the first time I'm buying a itunes card so not wasting my time going back to this branch. I've got a camera shot of the $30 itunes card with discount from the Woolies checkout which im happy to share here except not sure how to upload it.
