  • the christmas deal which on gg and hn might still be on today was an extra brown and $479 ….guess depends if you think an extra bowl is worth $30.

  • Apart from the early adopters, can anyone honestly say they paid full RRP for these?

if they have, they need to hand in their OzB Badge

Are POK still supporting Alan Jones's show? Won't shop with you again if you are, this country is burning due to climate change & people like him are the reason why… voting with my feet.

    • -8

That's the way blame Alan Jones for the countries woes. Not his fault you have a difference of opinion on climate change to him

      • +2

He helps perpetuate the myth that climate change isn't real, as a powerful force in the media he's responsible. Climate change = more fires, so yeah he's part of the toxic problem in our political debate.

So avoid his sponsors, like POK.

i don’t live in sydney, but alan jones seems to promote self interest at the expense of others through the radio and it’s not just climate …banning of greyhound racing, horse race promotions including advertising on opera house, rudeness to NZ prime minister , etc, etc.

not sure how many sydneysiders opinions he supports, but it must be many as he still has his jobs and advertising sponsors.

I always liked these guys, but I ordered a KitchenAid on the 24th just before the ice cream bowl promo ended (T&C’s stated 1159pm on the 24th, I purchased at 10pm and offer was still displaying on the product page).
However they’re refusing to honour the promo, claiming it was expired as they’d dropped the price that day in preparation for Boxing Day.

The T&C’s are pretty clear, the website was displaying the offer, yet they’ve been painful to deal with and haven’t acknowledged any mistake on their part at all, just keep blaming their website etc. Not really my problem, I met the T&C’s (it’s a KitchenAid promo, most/all stockists had it) but I’ve had to submit a complaint with fair trading as they won’t budge. I literally spent $1k on Boxing Day stuff from them, never again.

In summary, buy it from DJ’s, they price match, free shipping, and at least have good service!

      complain to kitchenaid as well.

I did, they said it was up to the retailer to deal with it and that they couldn’t do anything despite being the promoter of the offer :(
They did however confirm the 1159pm deadline and that my purchase should be eligible.

    • They've now gone and tried to discredit me on my google review claiming I was looking at another website, not theirs, and wanted the offer. Fortunately I took screenshots before purchase, so I've added them to my review. Not sure who's running the show over there, but they are fully aware I took screenshots (I've sent them to them), surely they'd realise I'd simply post them and expose their lie?? https://imgur.com/a/BKZHjdT

    • An update - someone from Peters reaches out to me today and apologised and said they’d honour the bowl.
Credit where due, while the runaround was crap, they admitted their mistake in the end and are fixing it.

    "Presented in a KitchenAid box."

Imagine being the kind of person who thinks that's a selling point

    • Thanks for pointing that out. I wasn’t going to get one if it had some rubbish unbranded packaging. but with that amazing offer maybe I’ll get 2!

I can understand people buying for a gift would be unhappy if it turned up repacked in generic brown cardboard.
