The watches use a Miyota movement, which is most certainly not "UK made".
Also the Cornerford facebook page has history of all your promotions, including previous black Friday deals, so "Hardly ever run promotions" seems like a stretch.
@nerdinary: how did you work out which mvt they use - was trying to find info on the website and could not find anything??
A few look an awful lot like the Guanqin GQ13007(or variant).
In fact, the Guanqin looks to be better specced with saphire and a stainless steel case.
Which UK made quartz movement do you use?
All UK made, no China involved - I am calling absolute BS on that. Are you saying that the case, dial and movement are manufactured in the UK?
I am not aware of any UK movement manufacturers - the tooling, production and labour is prohibitive.
I think you mean assembled in the UK from foreign (Chinese) and local (big maybe) parts.

The Buyer shall inspect the Goods immediately upon receipt and shall notify the Seller within 14 calendar days of delivery confirming in writing if the Goods are damaged or do not comply with any of the Contract. If the Buyer fails to do so the Buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the Goods. Once the product is used it cannot be returned, unless faulty. Once shipped if returned unopened, the Consumer will be responsible for both the outbound and return shipping costs plus any restocking fee deemed necessary, up to a maximum of 10% of the purchase price. Returns are not accepted for sale items.
So… can't open the box to determine if it works or not. If you open it, try it on, but it's faulty, you won't be able to get a full refund. And you have to pay postage and restocking?
Even with the discount you're going to have a rough time here with those specs (or lack of) at the advertised prices.
