Great deal! For people that can't go to the D850 just yet

  • I'm thinking would you be better off going for the z6 for a bit more?

    • If you are a casual photographer, hobbyist or beginner wanting full frame, I’d strongly recommend you get the Canon EOS RP for half this price at the moment (after discount and cash back). That one is user friendly and has 5 year warranty. If you are a pro or semi-pro or very experienced in extracting the most out of a camera’s capability, you would appreciate the Nikon D810 at this price…

  • Great price, a year too late. The D810 is still a great camera ( My D800 had the same PQ and was amazing ) BUT with the advent of the new mirrorless with a new lens mount ( Z mount ) I feel the old F mount is on the decline.

I swapped my D800 for a Z7 6 months ago and sold almost all my F mount lenses. The PQ on the Z7 is incredible. I have given up nothing except weight. IMO the Z6 would be money better spent than the D810 at this stage.

The image quality of the new Z mount lenses is a HUGE advance from those in F mount and sets a new standard with arguably the best lenses for full frame available at ANY price.

A year ago this offer would have been amazing. NOW not so much. They are shifting new old stock….
