For a portable SSD yeah I would buy.

    • thank you all

  • Anyone found stock elsewhere

  • Seems OK.
    Short YouTube review:

  • Seems unnecessarily large for such a low capacity drive. USB 3.0 also limits the transfer speed. May as well get a high-speed USB flash which is much more portable, albeit a little slower.

      I would go further… just buy a 480gb ssd and get a 3.0 case.

This uses an AB cable which almost no one uses and it doesnt seem to be a normal ssd inside…

you have more choices with a normal SSD especially when it comes to data recovery.

      • I do the same. You spend less, have more storage, and better speed as you can find USB-C case which are way faster than USB 3.0, something like data transfer speeds up to 10Gbps. Motherboards and laptops nowadays are coming with USB-C already.
Or just use an USB-A to USB-C cable for now but you won't need a new case in the future :)

  • I use one that I bought new from Gumtree for $50 earlier in the year. Seller was originally asking $150, but gradually reduced price over a fortnight period, as he wasn’t getting any interest.

Nice fast drive. Couple of things to keep in-mind is the drive is custom design, so no mSATA card you can remove for use elsewhere.

Some older laptop USB ports don’t seem to provide enough voltage to power the device.

Works fine on newer hardware, providing excellent performance.

    • So can't stick the drive in an old pre SSD MacBook?

    • I keep forked cables, for this purpose.

But I've never seen an SSD with power draw like 7200rpm variety 2.5 HDDs etc

  • Price reduced to $39, still some left

  • Got one. Drive is dummy thicc

  • No more stock left!
