Should I get block or replace my newsdemon?
Get a block & see how you go. $us20 is bloody cheap for 3Tb.
What do you recommend as a search engine?
Indexers are tricky, since the better ones are popular and restricted for semi obvious reasons, ie the files indexed tend to be prone to being deleted and blacklisted by various actors, which affects an entire backbone and the propagation of indexed files.
Second, they entirely rely on the charity of their user base to contribute, and other users to validate listings if they are accurate and timely, or have problems. The same users that can turn around and copy or delete the indexed results at their whim, affecting/ preventing any further downloads on that backbone.
The other hiccup is that some are bitcoin only, which is a headache.
Or you buy overpriced merchandise as a payment plan… Sic.
Oznzb is okay, but it has been troubled by downtime. DogNZB is good, Geek and Finder are quite good as well, that should get you started with advice and invites.
I have tried to get an invite on DrunkenSlug for so long after hearing good things about it. No idea, if I will ever get one :(
Whose your backbone provider?
Also you might want to mark your pricing as $US and add a rough conversion to $au
