    Yip, I did it 10 days ago and the ratio was still 1:1. There was talk of things being changed to 1 month Gold equalling 20 days GPU but that wasn't the case for me.

    Just don't make the mistake I did and buy 3 x 12 months Gold, as adding the 3 months for $1 takes you over the 36 month threshold. So buy 2 x 12 months an 1 x 6 months. Add the 3 free months and you'll have 31 months GPU.

      That conversion ratio of 1 month - 20 days is for those that already have an active Ultimate subscription.

      Microsoft really aren't that upfront about it, as it only seems to be mentioned on non-affiliated websites.

      Sounds like a great way of getting GPU. Is this only working with new accounts? Brand new Xbox Gold Accounts … or is it just for accounts which use Game Pass for the first time ?

        Accounts that are using Game Pass for the first time. Load up on Gold before you take out the 3 month GPU offer and all the Gold will be converted to GPU. Pretty sweet indeed!
