What's actually in it? The number of speakers and frequency splits, type of speaker etc? Seems alot for iems that aren't custom moulded to your ears.
They use a single dd. Meant to have great soundstage with loads of bass due to the single large driver. They look way lighter then custom ones but it's usually personal preference.

Are these much of an upgrade from the reddit favourite Sennheiser HD202?
I got the ie800 ages ago from dwi when they were still alive, good shit, so I'm assuming the S is better.
I still use them every now and then with my LG phone which has an amazing DAC/AMP with it too.
Ive got a bunch of high end Bluetooth headphones too but always opt for the Ie800 when in the mood for an eargasm session.
And they are not even wireless!
Wireless and high fidelity do not mix.

Depends who you ask, I probably seen more people that have both prefer the Sennheiser. Although the Sennheiser meant to have more bass. The shure bt1 is the same price.
Surprising to hear given the tech in the Shure IEMs.
