Pie Face is presenting Pie Jam, a series of pop-up music sessions around the CBD in their various locations, offering free coffee or mini pie and a roster of different unsigned musicians.
Today it is at the Pie Face at 227 Elizabeth Street (corner of Bathurst St), then goes to other Pie Face locations around Sydney for one month. The Pie Jam dates/locations are on the website.
I tried the coffee - very nice cappuccino, and the music on offer was excellent.
Expiry date refers to the dates listed on the website. It is only one day at each location and today is for the 227 Elizabeth St Sydney. Probably will be held interstate later as website says more dates to be announced soon.
There pies are quite terrible. Made in factories by machines and migrants packed frozen ready to quick cook. Certainly not a pie worth that price when you can have a good natural made on the day at any reptuable bakery. All the glitz and style but no substance in their product.
