It was at $129 a few days ago so this seems like a pretty good price.

Man I wish the London Bus would go on a wider release. I'm still missing that one

    • I'm looking for the Mustang but can't find anything at the moment.

    Also same same @ kmart

    same price at Kmart
@Cornbeef beat me to it by 23 seconds :D

Looks like a K-mart price match, but better from Amazon as Kmart makes you pay $3 for click and collect!

Edit: Scratch that $3, only for things less than $20

Great model for display purposes only. Pieces just fall off it.

    And excellent price.

  • Bit disappointed that I bought it a day ago for $129 and Amazon won't do anything about it.

    • If it hasn't shipped just cancel the order under your order history.

      • Unfortunately, it shipped already :/

There's strategy in their efficiency - with their pricing fluctuating all the time you can imagine how much this could disrupt their workflow. Agree, it's frustrating as a consumer but if you grab the best deal you can find at the time you need to purchase then you've done your bit :)

@fookos: That's a lot of buzzwords deployed to make little sense.

            • +1

@Diji1: Heh, I'll 'deploy' smaller words next time so you can follow-along ;)

        • You can return it after received. However you need to pay the return postage. Depends the price difference, you could work out if you should return it.

    • Try again for a different rep in a few minutes.

      • I just processed a return and re-ordered. Seems like a waste of time for everybody to be honest but the rep didn't see that.

Can't recommend Credit Card Price Protection Insurance highly enough. It has saved me over $500 in the last 18 months through stuff like this exactly.

      • +1

do you just need a screen cap?? or they give trouble like for example, you spend $129, they dropped to $99, you file a credit card price protection, then amazon sold out $99 and increase back to $129. They reply u saying sorry, we checked the price is $129 not $99 hence we cannot protect the price this time.

never use it before so not sure how easy and efficient the insurance works.

        thx in advance

        • Always get a sreenshot. Only been asked twice in 3 years to provide it and that was for larger value items. Low value claims seem to be auto-approved, especially when the claim has the cheapest store mentioned as amazon.

        • I always file receipts and screen caps, but very rarely asked for.

Just today I got back $100 on a coffee machine from Good Guys. If they checked today, it would not have been the price I claimed at. Maybe they dig deep, maybe they have criteria for how much effort they put in.

That said, they have chased me for proof of $5 before! That's ok, I always have it. Suspect it was a bit of a test.

          • @mctock: How long does the price protection apply for after the initial purchase?

            • +1

              @fookos: My one, 24 months!

I think Latitude's current card is shorter, but allows you to claim a lower price from any Australian retailer. With mine, it must be a lower price at that retailer.

              • @mctock: That’s nuts! Almost everything would drop in price point in 12-24 months - assuming still available.

                • @fookos: Yep, it's great for quickly-depreciating items, and things regularly on sale.

Still, the current offer of 6 months protection against better prices at l any retailer is good. I just bought a TV from JB that is $50 cheaper at an appliance joint in Sydney. I would have been covered immediately.

                  Check it out!

    • Should of waited till you got it, guaranteed they would of refunded the difference then.

  • Does shopback cash back work on this?

    • it should, 8% on toys via ShopBack

      • +1

And confirmed cashback at $6.30 bringing this down to $92.70. Prob the cheapest its going to get? :)

  • Why the long title? Delivery is free. Axe the bit about delivery.

The picture is blown up. It is much too small for the price you are paying. Better value getting a technic set than this.

    • Ikr, I bought this to go camping with my family and they don't even fit?! What a scam, thanks Lego

    • Approx 30 cm wide by approx 15 cm is pretty big IMHO

  • Been around 8 yrs . Lowest price here and still no sign of retirement .

    • +1

Brazil will still be selling them in 2145

  • Cheers OP, grabbed a 2nd set of this!

  • Looks like the deal is dead. Currently relisted at 145 unless there's a code I'm missing?

  • +1

    Price at $145 for me…

  • +2

    Yep displaying $145 for me.

  • Still available at Kmart C&C if you are able to get one. or +$10 shipping

  • Dang, I've bought so much Lego recently, but this is cheap.

  • Relisted at $145, sold by a reseller and not Amazon AU.

  • $99 again !
