I have previously found that ALDI microfibre cloths are very hydrophobic. Not so much an issue for kitchen when you prime (wet and wring) it first but awful for car detailing or trying to wipe something dry.

I find most clothes are like that until washed. Do you launder your cloths? Remember people not to use fabric softeners when washing them.

Plus if you have a dryer, put your Microfibre in there as well after washing, you'll fluff them back up.
If you don't have a dryer, then when they're air-dry, shake them out (to get the fibres to stand back up) and run a hair dryer over them.

        • I wash them by hand with dish washing liquid. Funny enough I found heating them in the microwave and hang dry makes them more usable.
I mostly use the Costco ones now.

  • These were pretty good last time, still using them now. They work fine once they've been washed a few times.

My local Bunnings had a massive box of Microfibre cloths going for $5 last night. If I go back soon, I'll try and take pictures and post the deal.

  • Not as good as the costco one, imo

    • Costco yellow ones are probably the reigning champion for cheap microfibers

  • Nice, these will be swell for my window cleaning biz 👍

    Microfibre Cloths 20pk $6.99 each.

  • I just tested out this TV.. What can I say.. Whilst the Picture quality is quite good, the smart TV functionality is basically rubbish.. Unless you only want to use Netflix & Youtube and absolutely nothing else.

Instead of Android TV, its uses an OS referred to as Netrange..
    http://netrange.com/smart-tv

Whilst that seems to give it on overall good spill, i found it clunky. I also managed to have it lock up on me on more than 2 occasions by simply navigating in and out of menus. I would be happy to pay 100-200 bucks more to get a TV with Android TV than this any day.. Given a Mibox or Vodafone TV costs sub 100 bucks, I find it odd that manufacturers opt for such a rubbish OS instead. One could argue using a Android TV box instead is better as it will be better supported with updates, I tend to like the idea of it integrated into the TV. This is just a personal preference.

There is also an Ecko 75 inch TV that Big W was selling on presale for $899. I am almost certain its basically the same TV as this (Same smart tv OS in particular), just re branded.

Suffice to say I will be returning this TV tomorrow.. I have noticed alot of 75 inch TV's are popping up around the low 1000 to 1400 mark of late.. I am sure its only time before this TV comes up with Android TV on it instead, at which point it will be a great budget unit..
