  • What's the difference with this? It's currently cheaper sub 240

    • Listing says it's $249 AU.

The difference is Tobydeals have a case and seems to be more expensive unless I'm missing something?

      • There's a $10 coupon for Tobydeals so it comes down to $239

        • Yeah that's not mentioned that's why I didn't see. Stack with cashback and if it tracks (usually does for BG) then this can be cheaper. You could also do a tax claim on this since BG charge GST.

          • @Clear: Ah okay, I was just curious as to why that post doesnt have that many up votes

  • Also apparently this doesn't have band 28 as per the description and Q&A

    • +2

No it does. Banggood have just copy pasted the description from the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 (I checked).

Is there any deals that have the same config but 128gb? NFC / b28 / SD etc etc

    • +1

Why do you need the extra space when you have a microsd slot .?

      • +1

Deals for 128gb sd cards under $18 lately..

      • my old xiaomi didn't allow apps on SD card, was a giant pain. I don't know if this has changed or not.

  • Any thoughts on how the camera has improved since the redmi 5..?

    • If it's the same as the Redmi note 8 pro it's a huge step up

  • +2

for me, not having bluetooth 5.0 is a deal breaker.. other than that really good specs for that price

  • Anyone know? I have a Redmi Note 8T, and bought a case and screen protector for a Redmi Note 8 (non-T). The case and protector is a tiny bit too small to fit the phone?!

    • We all know now, thanks.

  • About to bite the bullet however the cheapest I get it into my cart for is $A251.99 and that is with the above code and excluding the broken glass insurance. Am I doing something wrong?

    • I had the price in USD and put it through MasterCard's currency conversion rate. Usually an accurate representation of what currency conversion free cards are doing.

PayPal set to do its own conversion will be inflated. As well as setting AUD on the website.

      • Sold $240.83.

  • I'm currently using a Xiaomi Pocophone F1 and was thinking about changing to this instead. I know the CPU and memory aren't as good but the Note has NFC, IR, more/higher MP cameras and a slightly bigger screen. The glass back looks nice too.

Should I change or just keep the Pocophone? I don't really play games on the phone at all.

    • I also use poco. This isn't much of an upgrade. Save for a phone with a decent camera. Maybe xiaomi cc10 when it comes down in price

      • This camera isn't decent?

A bit confusing why Tobydeals listing doesn't mention B28

    https://www.tobydealsau.com/en_AU/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-…

    Is there a T version without B28?

    • Sellers are just ignorant and copy the Note 8 specs. 8T has B28.

  • Oh btw the Nokia 6.2 $299 deal is back lol. Good for those who want BT 5.0.

Bought my gf this after her iPhone 8 back glass cracked on its own and Apple wanted of $400 for a repair. She loves it. Great battery life, camera, sd slot is a bonus, screen is great. It does everything she wants. Well worth the money.

  • Any point getting this for missus? She's using cracked Pixel 2XL. Gcam pics on this phone decent?

So much negative stuff on the internet about Banggood.
Is it really a trustworthy site?
Maybe I will pay with PayPal with free returns and easy refunds just in case.

    • Yes I always use PayPal + I have been using it for a while now. It’s pretty good.

    • As long as your device has no issues and it arrives in time you'll be fine. Warranty or dead on return is always a pain for overseas sellers

  • You can get it for $222.59 if you buy it using the banggood app.

The app apparently doesn’t charge GST.

  • Anyone knows what screen is that? Amoled or lcd?

  • Trying to purchase but code no longer working, : "This coupon can only be used 10 times."

Hey OP, any other codes.. I missed out
