    Psychical Authentication Key $100 CC or + $10 Delivery

    Does this give you Psychic powers when you use the key?

  • Cheaper on https://www.yubico.com/

    5Ci = $70 + $5 delivery in USD = <$110 AUD

    Also not a listed reseller.

    • I wouldn't be surprised if they were an authorised reseller as it looks like Yubico may not have updated their list in a while.

      Edit: Awaiting response now.

    • +1

      They have already said they are an authorised reseller and are waiting for Yubico to update their website.

      USD $75.00 is AUD $110.50 according to xe.com.

      You negative vote is unwarranted and petty.

        Why are you using xe? Use Visa or Mastercard. I just checked and it's 4 cents more. GREAT DEAL!

          What about the overseas transaction fee?

          What about the PayPal rate?

    "Yubico Yubikey 5Ci Lightning and USB C Psychical Authentication Key for $35 + shipping(umart.com.au)"

    It says $100 on the site and in the title?

  • They should get Yakiboy to endorse it.

  • +1

    I would like to buy the 5ci for $35 please.

      "authorised"

      • Authorised as in they're listed on the Yubico site…

        • -2

          Right, because no one can make up a username on eBay.

          • @askbargain: Just called them and it's definitely them. Thanks for trying.

            • -1

              @Tacooo:

              Item location: Melbourne, VIC, Australia

              There aren't any Victorian resellers.

              • @askbargain: Are you really this dense or are you just screwing with me? A company can operate in one state and distribute stock from a warehouse in another.

    I used to have the NFC model and I have run into compatibility issue. Also 2 factor authentication is so inconvenient if you were to move from one PC to another frequently. I have end up returning the product and use the OTC instead and phone number instead.

      2 factor authentication is so inconvenient if you were to move from one PC to another frequently

      That's why you have a Yubikey. Also what issues were you facing?

    • +5

      What is OTC (OTP/One Time Pin)?
      Please don't use phone number (SMS) as a 2nd factor unless no other options are available.
      Google sim jacking for some horror stories.

      Ugh OTC is only slightly more secure than a complex password, and should only ever be used with complex passwords. I have had my number stolen from me, and it was hell. Physical key like yubikey is FAR more secure. I've had no issues with Windows/Linus/Android/Lastpass/Google. They are fantastic. If you lose your phone or OTC it becomes much more inconvenient.

      Remember that the purpose of having a second factor, is that it's something you have, assumed that you have control of. The Telco owns your number and has control over it, it's out of your control, therefore is not secure.
