Baby Bunting has been recommending rear facing until 12 months here.
Having said the above, rear facing for as long as possible is the way to go.
You are definitely right that in general, it is significantly safer for babies to be rear-facing until 12 months, but would you mind providing some information on the law changes?
Bought one yesterday. Just want to mention this is forward facing only car seat.
The law changed a bit recently regarding rear facing.
0-12 months babies should use rear facing car seat.
So even the box is saying 6 months - 8 years, it is actually for 12 months - 8 years
