I realised after dealing with shin splints for 3 weeks it was because I was running in ultraboost 4.0 and not the ultraboost 19 (made for running, ids thought I had bought ub19 but silly me) - so I bought a pair as not to interrupt my routine - the nimbus 22 great pair of shoes (the rebel store had only just gotten the stock so no discounts :( )

Yeah that's why i was asking if anyone has had any success for change of mind - i did read their policy and it says 'at managers discretion' - not really reassuring
By a new discounted pair and return them under your first receipt from four days ago saying you changed your mind. Bonus points if you do it with the same cashier without going to the back of the queue first.

Event sales like black Friday make them much more money than an average day because of the volume of sales. even if all of the people who bought in the few weeks preceding a sale could be bothered doing this, I doubt it would be significant as they still made the sale. They don't operate as a charity selling anywhere near cost even during these sales. They sell for what consumers are willing to pay in a competitive market and sales encourage people to also make purchases they wouldn't otherwise.
Be polite and ask the manager for store credit / price match. You might get a no, but you also might get a yes. Also many credit cards offer price drop protection.
Their return policy is that if you don't wear them and have the original receipt and shoebox you can return them anytime. Definitely can buy a pair on sale tomorrow and return them with the original receipt, nothing wrong with that

Definitely NOT 20% off all full price items. Trying to buy a backpack. It's in my cart as full priced. Called the help-desk number. The girl who helped me was awesome. She made some enquiries but it looks like there my be a glitch in the matrix. Some items for unknown reasons are not having the discount applied. Anyway, she is emailing me a voucher code for the 20% price difference to add at checkout. Great customer service.
